• [05.21.07] 08:00PM EDT - Submission for the 2007 PBAIC is now closed.

• [05.18.07] The competition guidebook has been updated to clarify which timepoints are excluded from scoring during a run. For scoring
  purposes, we are excluding all timepoints in which the VRFixation vector value is greater than 0.5 and the timepoints within six volumes
  after the end of each run off period.
  
  The methods description page limit has been adjusted to be 7 pages and 2100 words: there is a 5 page limit on the Introduction and Method sections and a 2 page limit on the Results and Discussion section. The link to upload your methods description is now available on the Submit Page.

• [05.17.07] To clarify, the title page and methods descriptions are also due by 05:00PM PDT on Monday, May 21, 2007. The report templates can be found on the Download Page.
  
  There is work scheduled to be done on the network at the University of Pittsburgh site this weekend, beginning at 11:00 pm Saturday 5/19/2007. The work should take approximately 2-3 hours and when completed all network connectivity should be restored. During this time, there is the possibility that you may not be able to submit your entries.

• [05.13.07] The scoring program has been updated to fix the following bugs:
  -- problem with path on Windows
  -- now excludes the Happy feature vector for subject 14 from scoring

• [05.10.07] The Run 3 Official Submission Page is now active.

• [05.09.07] Updated 2007 PBAIC Guidebook (v.6) is now available for download. See Appendix L for Document Revision History.

• [05.08.07] The Detailed Methods Description Template for Competition Participants has been added to the download page under the Scoring and Submission section. The scoring program readme has been added under the README section of the download page. The initial release of the scoring program has been added under the Scoring and Submission section.

• [05.05.07] The feature rating data and matlab files for all subjects have been updated to include the DogVisible extra credit feature vector. In the Matlab files, the ordering of features in the subject##_run##.feature array is now:

• [04.27.07] Updated 2007 PBAIC Guidebook (v.5) is now available for download. The sad feature has been removed from the extra credit features list. See Appendix L for Document Revision History.
  
  Matlab version 6 compatible .mat files have been added to the download page in addition to the previously posted Matlab version 7 compatible .mat file

• [04.26.07] Updated 2007 PBAIC Guidebook (v.4) is now available for download. The music feature has been removed from the required features list. See Appendix L for Document Revision History.

• [04.25.07] The feature rating data and not_preprocessed and preprocessed matlab data for all subjects has been updated. It now includes the ReadSign feature vector.

• [04.19.07] The motion correction parameters of each run for all subjects have been posted to the download page. Each tar file unpacks three text files into a pghdata/subject##/motion_parameters/ directory. Each text file contains the motion parameters output from the AFNI 3dvolreg program in 9 ASCII formatted columns:

  where:
  n  = volume index within the run
  roll  = rotation about the Inferior-Superior axis } degrees CCW
  pitch = rotation about the Right-Left axis } degrees CCW

  dS  = displacement in the Superior direction  }  mm
  dL  = displacement in the Left direction } mm
  dP  = displacement in the Posterior direction }  mm
  rmsold = RMS difference between input volume and base volume
  rmsnew = RMS difference between output volume and base volume

• [04.17.07] Videos of runs 1 and 2 for all subjects have been added to the download page under the Video Data section. Each tar file unpacks two DIVX-encoded AVI files into a pghdata/subject##/video/ directory.

• [04.10.07] Updated 2007 PBAIC Guidebook (v.3) is now available for download. See Appendix L for Document Revision History.
  
  The feature rating data for subjects 01, 13, and 14 have been updated.
  -- for all subjects the Dog feature vector has been updated to exclude
  the task fixation (VRFixation) periods
  - for all subjects the extra credit features excluding DogVisible and
  ReadSign have been added
  -- for subject13, the Faces, FruitsVegetables, and WeaponsTools feature vectors have been updated

  The Brain Imaging data for all subjects has been updated in DICOM,
  Analyze and Matlab not preprocessed and preprocessed formats
  -- the brain imaging data for run vr03 has been added in all formats
  
  The SPM hemodynamic response functions at frame-rate and
  volume-rate have been added under the Matlab Functions section for
  reference

• [03.30.07] The Raw DICOM, Unpreprocessed and Preprocessed Brain Image Data in ANALYZE and Matlab formats for subject 01, runs 1 and 2 have been added.
  
  The Feature Rating Data for subject 01, runs 1 and 2 have been added. The following required features are included: Arousal, Valence, Hits, Instructions, InteriorExterior, SearchFruit, SearchPeople, SearchWeapons, Velocity, Dog. The VR-Fixation feature has also been included.

• [03.28.07] The Brain Image Data README document has been updated. Section 7 was updated to fix inaccuracies in the following sub-sections:
  -- 7.1 Loading Data using .mat file
  -- 7.4 Verifying that brain data has been loaded correctly

• [03.23.07] Preprocessed Brain Image Data in Matlab format is now available on the Download Data page.
  
  Colorized sample video is now available for download on the Competition Materials Page.

• [03.22.07] The Brain Image Data README document has been updated. Section 7 was added to explain the provided Matlab .mat data and Matlab functions.
  
  The Feature Data README document explaining the Feature Rating Data file format and directory structure has been added.
  
  The Required Feature Rating Data for subject 13, runs 1 and 2 has been added.
  
  The Preprocessed Brain Image Data in ANALYZE format was updated to include a mask file for the functional data.
  
  The Unprocessed Brain Image Data in Matlab .mat format has been added.
  
  Matlab functions and scripts to load the ANALYZE format data into Matlab have been added.
